You may also need to make certain considerations for the luggage you wish to take into and out of the Caribbean countries where you wish to travel. Pets are another consideration—if you plan to take your furry friend on vacation with you, you may need to make special arrangements.

Bangsaen beach has long been the preferred coastal getaway for Bangkok residents, but it has recently transformed itself in to a fully fledged international resort too. Tourists from Europe and America are now flocking to the beautiful, peaceful town of Bangsaen, so as to spend their vacation in a modern, but authentic, Thai destination.
Bangsaen beach is primarily for couples and families. You can completely avoid the backpackers that have over-run the south of Thailand, and the large groups of beer guzzling guys that head to Pattaya. It is the type of place that you would be happy to take your grandparents to, safe in the knowledge that they would feel totally safe and secure, and would not be offended by anything that they come across.
However, Bangsaen beach is not at all boring. You can sunbathe on the beach, do water-sports, go shopping, watch movies, etc. Put simply, it is somewhere to relax in peace and quiet. That so many expats have chosen Bangsaen beach as their new home says a lot about the place.

If you are planning to stay for less than a month, then you do not need to arrange a visa, as you will be given a free one on arrival at the airport. If you fancy staying in Thailand for longer than a month then you should get a tourist visa arranged before you leave your home country. A tourist visa is valid for up to 3 months and costs less than $50.
December to February is the best time to visit Bangsaen beach, though a couple of months either side of that period will still guarantee you good weather. Shorts, t-shirts and sun-tan lotion will be required as temperatures consistently get past 90 degrees!
