Women who consumed 3 cups of coffee a day can reduce a risk of diabetes by 27 percent, but when consumed with a lunch can reduce the risk of diabetes by 33 percent.

The effect of drinking coffee with lunch only seen in women who consume black coffee, not coffee with milk or other extra ingredient. Why black coffee??? Unfortunately there is no proven answer for this matter, because in these study women who consumed coffee with milk is not much, so the results is not too clear.

Sartorelli suggest even drinking a coffee at lunch may reduce the risk of diabetes, but one must also consider what kind of food that they consumed because food intake can also affect the risk of diabetes.
