Talk and Act
Teenage girls love looking good, smelling good and feeling good. They love to use cosmetics, skin care and anti acne products, beauty products and personal body care products. And teenage girls use a massive amount of most of these personal products.
Many experts have known for quite a while that many of the big name cosmetics, skincare products and personal products that you, use daily, and that teenage girls use in huge amounts, daily, contain dangerous ingredients. Take lipsticks for example. One product actually contains a commonly used pesticide.
And a very recent study found that there were hormone disrupting chemicals in a number of our cosmetics, and that teenage girls tested had up to 16 of these dangerous hormone disrupting chemicals in their bodies.
There are organizations established to combat this like the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and Teens Turning Green. And there are searchable databases where you can actually search on product names and company names and find out the chemicals that are contained in the products, the expected risk of those chemicals and a hazard assessment on a scale of one to ten.
In Europe this problem has been recognized for some years and a European Directive prohibits use of dangerous ingredients in cosmetics and skin care and personal use products.
Does not the FDA protect us from dangerous cosmetics? Big business does not have a proud record of protecting consumers by making safe products. Use safe cosmetics and safe skin care products. There are a few excellent manufacturers with a stated commitment to producing safe products, including cosmetics and skin care products, and these are also extremely high quality effective products.
Cosmetics, personal skin care and beauty care products companies can actually sign what is known as the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, and publicly evidence their commitment to product safety. You will not find the names of the big brand cosmetics and skincare companies listed there.
Get involved, or if not then buy effective and safe skin care products and cosmetics. One line of skin care products, from a company that has signed the compact and makes totally safe skin care products, is probably the world best and most effective skin care products. And totally safe for teenage girls.

Do you really need to find cosmetic organizers to get your beauty products in order? When you need to find the scent you have not used for two months have you got to remember where you put it? If you’re like most folks, the cosmetics you use on a consistent basis and the ones used rarely are all together in your rest room. Finding what you’re looking for is sort of a scavenger hunt. How do you keep this from happening?
Cosmetic organizers are the solution. They are made to hold a variety of items and you will know just where to look next time you are looking for a certain lipstick or a particular color eye shadow. Think about the time this will save when you’re trying to rush out the door. The theorem of everything being where it belongs and all you have got to do is open an organizer would be perfect when it comes time to apply your makeup.
The reality is women own more products than they use when it comes to cosmetics. Some items they may never use are all mixed in with the ones they use and it takes 2 times as long to find what they are hunting for when making preparations to go somewhere.
When you get one or more cosmetic organizers, you can start to get your stuff organized and clear out ones that are no longer used. The items you use occasionally should be in a completely different area than the ones used on a daily basis. If you have items that are used only a couple times per year, put these in a separate area. Throw away the things you don’t use anymore.
Organization is the key to finding anything. How many times have you turned your house the wrong way up trying to find something? The same thing happens in the bathroom when you have too many cosmetics all in drawers, baskets and wherever you will find to put them. So what sort of cosmetic organizers do you need to keep all your items where they are less difficult to find?
There are plenty of types which will work, so one of the considerations will be what type you want. The clear type is one of the popular organizers since they are easier to see what’s being stored. Multi-layer organizers permit bigger items to be put on the bottom and smaller trays to be used at the top for smaller accessories.
When choosing cosmetic organizers, the revolving type is another selection you may want to consider. This will enable you to move the sections around to find exactly what you are looking for. The layered boxes are an alternate way of keeping all your cosmetics in order.
When you find the right organizers to keep all of your cosmetics together and in order, you’ll be dazzled at how far easier it is to get ready to go to work, out to dinner or for that special date. Everything will be in one area, all the same type will be together and you will be in a much better mood before heading out the door.
