Some people are also concerned that small children could choke on glow products. If the glow product is small enough, a child could indeed choke on it, just as he or she could choke on any small object. For this reason, you should keep your glow sticks away from very young children. If you do choose to let your children play with glow sticks, make sure to watch them very closely. Another thing to keep in mind is that some people’s eyes are very sensitive to light, so particularly bright lights can sometimes hurt their eyes. Just like you should never stare directly at the sun, you should never shine a glow light directly in someone’s eyes. As long as you keep these precautions in mind, you can enjoy your glow light without having to worry about it being dangerous.

Recently I came across some very interesting and unexpected information about children´s sleeping bags. I have two kids myself and we are getting ready for our yearly trip into the wilderness. Some new equipment is in order and it was me who was tasked with the purchase and with finding the best children sleeping bags for our kids. Very important for us is that our sleeping bags have a good quality for a reasonable price. Most of them had a strap and roll system for quick wrapping so that it was easy to quickly roll them up the next morning. When packed all of them took up just very little storage space in our car. Additionally, the weight was fairly minimal. As it seems modern fabric is made pretty leight weight. For our trip this was one of the key factors since we planned to hike many miles in the course of the day and our children were required to carry their back packs and their sleeping bags as well as a thermic mat by themselves.
With a few select choices in mind I set out to purchase the new sleeping bags for our kids at a local equipment store near the shopping mall and I took our little girl with me. She had insisted to have a say in the colors we would go buy them in. Knowing her I guess she was hoping for a pink and cute Disney sleeping bag with motives from one of their animated movies. I personally doubt though that these types of a toddler sleeping bag are made for outdoors. It seems that they are meant for sleepovers at a friend´s house or for birthday parties in the kindergarden where kids can take a nap.
